I never thought there was so much beauty hidden in this island of the Indian Ocean, Bali. I consider myself very lucky that I had the opportunity to attend a traditional Balinese wedding and capture the special day of this amazing couple and their new beginning together. I had a unique opportunity to gain insight into the Indonesian culture and interact with the local community, while being their wedding photographer at the same time. The Balinese Blessing Ceremony is a spiritual ceremony that is part of the Balinese tradition, consisting of a purification of both the body and the soul, as well as the welcoming of good spirits. Little did I know at the time that the people and the beauty of Bali would be an experience that I don’t have the words to describe. Ι hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
